Meduran acquires LifeViz imaging systems for installation at partner clinics in the European Union. We buy outright — no consignment, no brokerage fee. On this equipment the decisive question is not the condition of the camera: it is whether the software licence comes with it.
Our current focus is the QuantifiCare LifeViz family, now with Quartier Latin. Pro variants are preferred but not required. If you hold another 3D imaging or skin analysis system in comparable condition, send it anyway — we review every offer.
Systems are purchased for clinical use, not for parts. Every unit is checked against the criteria below — including a live capture test — before any payment is made.
These are firm. A system that fails any one of them is declined regardless of price. The first three carry the most weight: on software-driven equipment the camera is rarely the problem.
| Software licence | The licence or cloud account has to be transferable to the new owner. We ask the seller to sign the manufacturer's transfer request before payment — with a practice that is closing, there is often no one left to sign a month later. A licence that stays with the seller — declined |
|---|---|
| Which software is in the box |
Tell us what actually runs on the computer that ships with the unit — the desktop LifeViz App or the cloud LifeViz Neo Cloud — and which version. This matters more than the year of manufacture, because it decides what a buyer is actually getting.
|
| Live capture test | One 3D capture, taken and processed while we watch over a video call. Fifteen minutes, nothing to prepare, no visit. We will also ask you to disconnect the internet and repeat it, and to restart the computer once with the software open. No demonstration of any kind — declined |
| Identity | The serial number on the camera must match the one the software reports. Send a photograph of the label and of the software information screen, together with the model designation and the year of manufacture. |
| Completeness | Tell us what ships with the unit — camera, mount or tripod, calibration target, cables, case, and the computer with the software already installed and working. A unit that arrives with its working computer is worth more to us, so say so if it does. |
| Pricing | NET price only — 0% VAT, intra-Community supply to our EU-registered entity. Where the marketplace offers an escrow service, we are glad to use it — it protects you as much as it protects us. Payment by bank transfer, in full, on collection |
Send these with your NET price and we can give you a substantive answer the same week. Without them, any quote is provisional on both sides.
The label on the camera body. Legible, including the model designation.
The screen showing the application name, its version and the serial number it is registered to.
A single 3D capture exported as an image. It shows that camera, computer and software still work as a set.
One photograph of everything that ships: camera, mount, calibration target, cables, case and computer.
Model, year, NET price and the four photographs. A short email is enough — we do not ask sellers to fill in portals or register accounts.
We check the documentation against the criteria above and answer either way. If we decline, we say why — so you know what the next buyer will ask about.
A check of the unit in use: the serial number against the software, one 3D capture taken and processed, and the same capture repeated with the internet disconnected. By video call — fifteen minutes, no visit.
Payment on collection. We arrange decommissioning, preparation for transport, insurance and shipping at our own cost — the computer, the mount and the calibration equipment travel with the camera.
Not consignment, not a listing, not a commission. The unit becomes ours on collection and you are done with it.
Purchases are made by our EU-registered company in Slovakia at 0% VAT. Full company details and VAT identification are provided with the purchase order.
Removal, conservation for transport, insurance and carriage are handled and paid for by us. For a clinic closing down, that is usually the part that matters most.
We inspect once against a fixed list. If the unit passes, we buy at the agreed NET price. If it does not, we tell you which criterion it failed.
One addition that applies to software-driven equipment. Before payment we ask the seller to sign the manufacturer's request to transfer the licence, and we put that request to the manufacturer in parallel with the negotiation rather than after it. It costs you a signature and a photograph of the serial label — and it is what lets us pay in full on collection instead of holding part of the price back.
Meduran is the equipment procurement operation of a company registered in Slovakia, European Union. We buy aesthetic laser platforms on behalf of clinics and install them into clinical use.
We are buyers, not brokers — we are not trying to place your unit with someone else for a margin. That is why the criteria on this page are specific and why we ask for screen photographs before quoting: we carry the risk of what we buy, so we would rather decline early than renegotiate at the loading dock.
Company registration details and VAT identification are provided on request, and with every purchase order.
Direct sellers — clinics, practices closing or upgrading — and established dealers are equally welcome. Write in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese or Russian.
